The short version: we give you an honest analysis, not a promise. The numbers are calculated from real published statistics where they exist, and we tell you plainly where they do not. What you do with the answer is your decision, and the risk of that decision stays with you.

What this service is

IdeaCheck takes a description of a business idea and returns a feasibility report: a verdict and score, a break-even point, a five-year view of the money, the risks we can identify, suggested next steps, and a list of every source we consulted.

What it is not

It is not financial advice, investment advice, legal advice or accounting advice. We are not your advisor and no relationship of that kind is created by your using this service. A report supports a decision; it does not make one, and it does not guarantee any outcome.

If you are about to commit money you cannot afford to lose, take the report to a qualified professional in your country. That is what it is for.

Where the numbers come from, and their limits

• Economic figures come from published official statistics, chiefly the World Bank. We name each one and the year it refers to.
• Some figures are not published for every country. When that happens we either use a clearly labelled regional comparison or we withhold the figure entirely and say so. We do not fill a gap with a plausible guess.
• Where no evidence was found, the report says no evidence was found. That is different from saying there is no demand, and the report distinguishes the two.
• Any figure you supply — your price, your costs, your budget — is used as given. We cannot check whether it is realistic, and the report will be wrong in proportion to how wrong your inputs are.

Your account

• You confirm your email address before running a report. Give an address you control and details that are accurate.
• Your first report is free. Paid reports are bought in advance.
• Do not submit anyone else's confidential information, and do not try to break, overload or work around the service.

Paying and refunds

Prices are shown before you pay and vary by country, which we explain on the pricing page. A report is generated the moment you ask for it, so a credit that has been spent cannot be returned. If a report fails to generate, the credit is not consumed. If something has clearly gone wrong with a report you paid for, contact us and we will make it right.

Your idea remains yours

You keep every right in the idea you describe. We claim nothing in it. We use it to produce your report and for nothing else. The report we write is yours to use, share and publish as you wish.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be available at any particular moment. We may change or withdraw features.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for business losses, lost profit, or decisions taken on the basis of a report. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
