Privacy Notice
Last updated 7 October 2026. Operated by Sage Software Research.
The short version: we collect your name, email, phone number and the idea you describe. We use them to produce and deliver your report. We do not sell them, and we do not send you marketing unless you tick the box asking for it — which is never ticked for you.
What we collect, and why
- Name, email address and phone number. To confirm you are a real person, deliver your report, and contact you about it. The email address is confirmed with a six-digit code before anything runs.
- Which description fits you — idea holder, investor, or lender. It changes which figures the report leads with.
- The idea you describe, plus the market and budget if you give them. Used to produce your report.
- Your report. Stored so you can open it again.
- Technical records — IP address and a browser identifier — used to apply the free-report limit and stop abuse.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not put advertising trackers or analytics scripts on the page where you write your idea. That page loads nothing from anyone else.
- We do not email your idea to ourselves. When we are alerted that a new person has signed up, that alert carries your name, email, phone and whether you opted in — never the text of your idea.
- We do not add you to a mailing list because you used the service. Only the tick-box does that.
Marketing, and how consent works here
The box asking whether we may email you is never ticked in advance, it is never hidden, and leaving it alone costs you nothing — your report runs either way. If you tick it we record the moment you did. Every such email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
Who else sees your information
- Our hosting provider, which runs the service and stores the database.
- Our email provider, which delivers your verification code. It receives your email address and the code.
- Anthropic, whose models write the narrative part of your report. Your idea text is sent to produce your report.
- Our payment processor, if you buy a report. We never see or store your card details.
- A form service, which delivers the new-signup alert described above and anything you send through the contact form.
Each is used to run the service, not to market to you.
How long we keep it
- Verification codes: ten minutes, and only as an unreadable digest — the code itself is never stored.
- Reports and account details: until you ask us to delete them.
- IP records used for rate limiting: pruned on a schedule, since they are the most sensitive thing here and the least useful to keep.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw marketing consent. Write to us and we will act on it. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, the GDPR gives you these rights and the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
We handle your data under the law of the United Arab Emirates, where Sage Software Research is registered, and we apply the protections above to everyone regardless of where they live.
Children
This service is for people making business decisions and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Contact
Write to us through the form at the end of any report, or at ssr.com.np.
